This web page now has important additions and updates. Originally this web site was designed and posted on the internet about ten years ago. Due to serious Bible study in the past several years I have since changed my beliefs on several doctrines; but my original writings of ten years ago on this site have NOT been updated to reflect my changed personal beliefs. But I want to revise and update my original writings as time permits. Most truth seekers are aware that the Christian faith is a spiritual growth in the maturity of Jesus Christ. The point I want to make is that we should NOT stay as "babes" in Christ, and a serious study into the meanings of God's words will cause that spiritual growth and maturity. But keep in mind, no good works of study or good works of charity can "earn" our salvation. Our salvation is a GIFT and it was earned ONLY by the sacrificial works of Jesus Christ. But to be "firstfruits" in the first resurrection we should go on to "perfection" and LEAVE the beginning principles and teachings of the doctrine of Christ, and not go back and again lay a certain foundation (Hebrews 6:1). So my prayer is that these following updates will be helpful in spiritual growth. But keep in mind, it is NOT my writings that cause spiritual growth; it is the Holy Spirit causing us to believe the meanings of the words of God. The updates that are added to this site are transcribed sermons and lessons that I gave to a local fellowship group several years ago. Introduction and Purpose
Thank you for hitting on my personal web page, and please keep reading to understand the purpose of this web site. First of all, I want to introduce myself. My name is Mahlon, and my "spiritual" background and church affiliation was with the World Wide Church of God in the early 1970's. I was a part of this Church for six years, and then departed because of doctrinal reasons. However I did not depart from God and the Bible, and over the years I became aware of certain biblical truths that simply are not taught in the modern churches. Most of my life I have always had a profound interest in the Bible, and I know without a doubt that the Bible has all the answers to life and the various problems that face mankind. It is my conviction and belief that the Bible indeed has "all the words of this life" (Acts 5:20), and it is also my belief that the Bible is not some "mystery book" that cannot be understood. The modern clergy and various "religions" have made the Bible complicated and hard to understand, which explains the division, confusion, and disinterest in the Bible among many people in Christian groups.
Christianity will acknowledge that the Bible is the inspired "Word of God", and it is accepted that the Bible is indeed God's divine revelation to man. However, it is a question if Christians will actually believe the Bible and the words of Jesus Christ. This is why God's divine revelation on certain truths is hard for Christians to believe and accept, simply because so-called "Christianity" is not working. Allow me to explain. It is obvious churches in general are on a dangerous theological premise that allows believers to accept doctrines (true or false) that are "comfortable" for them, and God will somehow "adjust" His truths to make them suitable for them. It is seldom ever explained that believers must do the "adjusting", and must grow in the truths of the Bible. It is also obvious that churches in general simply lack the power of conviction on moral issues. All these symptoms are a testimony that churches in general have departed from the God of the Bible and are on a wrong theological premise; and therefore have a major problem with accepting correct doctrine and theology. This is why we live in a nation of divided churches, which explains why modern day Christianity is not working. These statements will offend most Christian people, and when confronted with certain biblical truths (which this web site will present) they generally will refuse to accept them. Sincere well-meaning people have been mentally "programmed" by liberal minded churches that they must believe and accept what is "politically correct" for them, and that there are other "ways" to God and salvation. Therefore they are not aware of the power of deception of which the Bible itself warns against! This is why there is generally no heartfelt desire for people to truly understand the Bible on their own. The vast majority of people (believers and non believers) have been spiritually "disarmed". Therefore most people that make up this great nation have no desire to resist and to confront evil in their personal lives; as well as confronting the deception of the churches and the corruption in our political system. Please understand the true implications of this type of mind-set from a political and national viewpoint! There is something tragically wrong with a nation of churches that somehow can elect a known criminal, an habitual liar, and an adulterer in the white house; and will openly tolerate and excuse him! Please understand, as the churches go so goes the country, therefore this type of permissive liberalism can be traced to a very serious flaw in theology with most of the churches of this great nation!
I am an ordained elder of a local fellowship group. I have never enrolled in a theological seminary; nor do I have any desire to. The type of ministry that I have chosen since 1995 is to write pamphlets and booklets on various biblical subjects as I understand the complete text of scripture. The purpose of this web page is to explain these certain "unbelievable" and "unacceptable" (yet very simple) biblical truths, and to "stir up" theological minds. It is my sincere opinion that my writings will expose believers to the simplicity of the Bible, which will allow them to make up their own minds on doctrine if they so choose. The following articles in this web site will generally be dismissed as inaccurate and misleading, because I will be considered as "unlearned" since I had no "training" on matters of theology. Professing Christian people will claim I am either deceived or totally misinformed about the Bible. Why don't you dare to be different, and you be the judge to determine if this written material is misleading and deceptive. I believe the following written material is a very basic, down to earth, and common sense approach in understanding the Word of God. I do not (I repeat, I do not) have an ounce of "hatred" or "prejudice" toward any church or religion. I realize I could be wrong in explaining the Word of God on certain topics. For that reason it is my hope and prayer that the following written material will only be used as a help and a guide to promote a love for the truth. Please understand, these following articles were not written to necessarily promote truth contained in the Holy scriptures. They were written only to promote the "love of the truth" (2 Thes. 2:10). Explore through these articles at you own risk, because this written information will expose many doctrines that the world's modern day churches will not accept. Pamphlets
Many of today's sincere Christian people never consider that they might be misunderstanding the words, Ye must be born again. Learn about this doctrine and the possible meaning of these words spoken by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Many people are observing what is called the Saturday Sabbath. These sincere Christian people simply are not aware of certain biblical facts regarding the Sabbath issue. The pamphlet, The First Day of the Week will explain the original meaning of this phrase, which in turn will explain the Sabbath issue from the view point of the New Testament.
The doctrine of the "immortal soul" is a very interesting and important doctrine, and by clicking on Are Souls Immortal? you will learn another explanation of this truth than what is commonly taught in many of our churches.
As a rule, the modern churches do not acknowledge that the faith of Abraham founded the New Testament Church. Please click on The doctrine of Imputations to learn why God imputed righteousness to Abraham, and how righteousness can also be imputed to us.
It no doubt will surprise many to learn the very obvious answer to this question: Who Are the Modern day Israelites? The truth regarding this subject is stranger than fiction, and will make the Bible become "alive" for truth seekers!
It will surprise many sincere Christians to learn from the Bible that it is possible for the grace of God to fail and become useless for believers. This evil world is entering into a one world economic and religious system, which according to the Bible, will be headed up and controlled by the Man of Sin. This subject has no "spiritual" application (as some churches teach), and it simply requires that we believe exactly what the apostle Paul writes about this individual.
What is the divine "will" of God? By clicking on What is Predestination? you will learn that God has already decided, and it is his "will" that all of his family come to repentance and be saved. However the members of God's family must choose to respond to God's "will", which will prove their desire to be saved. This is simply because God must know the desire of his children, and he will never compel and force his "will" on his children!
The modern churches generally are not aware of the true meaning of "redemption". This is because most churches of today believe in what is known as "dispensational theology". The pamphlet, What Is Kinsman Redemption? explains why Jesus Christ was under the law of "kinsman redemption", therefore God could not be on a "dispensational" plan; as most churches believe and teach.
The subject and doctrine known as the Spirit of God is a very personal doctrine from the Creator God's point of view. Therefore this doctrine cannot be understood by sinful flesh. However this pamphlet does show the importance of accepting and acting on correct doctrine in order for the Spirit of God to have an active role in the life of a Christian.
A very solemn event took place during the last meal that Christ eat with his apostles before his death. This event is recognized by the Christian world as The Lord's Supper. Learn how and why this very serious and profound occasion is to be remembered in a symbolic fashion by believers.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said some very interesting statements regarding the Worm that dieth not, and in order to learn what Christ meant by these statements is to learn the biblical meaning of this certain "worm".
Booklets
The subject of baptism is nothing more than "circumcision made without hands", and is directly related to the Abrahamic covenant which was "confirmed before of God in Christ" (Gal. 3:17). The death of Jesus Christ has founded what is called the "Christian Faith". Therefore it is a must for those that confess the Christian faith to learn the surprising truth about this very important event, and what caused Christ's death by clicking on How Did Jesus Christ Die?
The "Church" is an institution that Christ has to build, and there is very much that the modern churches are not teaching regarding the subject of What is the Church?
For those that have always wondered what happened to the ten northern tribes of Israel that were taken captive, be sure to click on Lost Israel and the Gentiles. It may surprise many to know that it is impossible to "lose" this many people in history (as our "learned" historians would have you to believe), and the very obvious answer as to who are the "gentiles" is found in the last pages of this booklet.
By clicking on The Judgments of God you will learn about the unseen creation and world of the angels. The angels of God were very instrumental in speaking the eternal moral laws of God to the children of Israel, and therefore in the future they will serve in determining proper judgment for God's children on "judgment day".
The Kingdom of God booklet addresses what is known as the "millennium", and also addresses Daniel's "70 weeks" prophecy explaining the time schedule of earth-shaking events leading to the second coming of Jesus Christ. This booklet does not (I repeat, does not) teach that prophecy regarding the second coming of Jesus Christ has been fulfilled in 70 AD. It is generally understood that those who hold to the "preterist" view on prophecy believe that Jesus Christ "returned" in the year 70 AD. This booklet will explain why the "preterist" view is simply a serious misunderstanding of prophecy.
What happens to the spirits and souls of the members of God's family when they die? The doctrine and subject of "heaven" and "hell" is addressed in Life and Death, and also addresses the very interesting historical event (not a parable) of the "Rich Man and Lazarus".
In our life time we have all heard questions of this nature: "What are we doing on planet earth?", or "What is life all about?", or more important; What is Man? These types of questions are very valid, and therefore deserved to be answered! However these kinds of questions are normally taken for granted, and left for our "learned" theologians to explain.
By clicking on The New Jerusalem you will learn the truth as to why the political news "spotlight" is on the city of Jerusalem almost on a daily basis. The city of Jerusalem during the old covenant was used to represent the real city of Heavenly Jerusalem which has actual foundations. This booklet goes into detail explaining the actual measurements of the "city of God" that will eventually come down to this earth when God will dwell with His people forever.
How important is repentance and obedience toward God? This question is answered in Repentance and Obedience, which explains the concept known as the "humility of a little child"; which in turn captures the attention and graces of Our Heavenly Father.
The Seventh Day booklet will explain a very new approach in answering the Sabbath question. This is a very serious subject, because Sabbath keeping under the old covenant represented a failed six day creation that became useless to God because of Adam's sin, therefore called for the sufferings and death of Jesus Christ. I know you Saturday Sabbath keepers are not aware of this truth, or else you would switch overnight to Sunday keeping! The apostle Paul was in very much grief and agony for the Galatian Church because of this heresy and misunderstanding.
A common sense explanation of "Noah's Flood" is explained in The World Before Adam. Most Christian people are not aware of a "disruption" of the pre-historic world before Adam that became "waste" and "void", and was totally submerged in water and in darkness. This was caused by an angelic rebellion that assaulted the very throne and government of Almighty God, which the modern churches do not teach. Many of today's churches would rather believe and teach the ridiculous and impossible theory of a six thousand year old creation!

From time to time the author receives various email messages from Christians that more or less want to argue, or have theological questions that they want answered. The author has decided to add some of these email discussions to this web page. These email discussions (and letters) are on various theological subjects, however mostly on the Sabbath. The author is not interested in promoting arguments, and he never intends to "force" doctrine on people. However he will defend his position on certain doctrines as he understands the Bible. The author sincerely believes that understanding the truth of the Bible should be the highest priority in the lives of sincere believers! A debate on the 70 AD doctrine (Is the kingdom here?). Linda wanted to know why the Anglo Saxon and kindred people can rightfully be called "Israelite" people. An explanation if there were two Sabbaths at Christ's death, and also the "three days and three nights" is discussed in this email. The biblical term "every creature" (found in Mark 16:15), and the "race question" is discussed with Mulraine. The term "Christian Identity" is addressed in a discussion with Dave. The Sabbath and the term "three days and three nights" is discussed with Nelson. The biblical definition of the term "every kindred" is discussed with Philip. The subject of polygamy (more than one wife) is explained in this article. Another important debate on the Sabbath was shared with Ron. The belief known as "speaking in tongues" is practiced in many of today's churches, but is this type of tongues approved of God? An interesting discussion on Infant baptism which explains that this practice was implied several times in the New Testament. "Ye shall not have gone over the Cities of Israel till the Son of Man be come" (Matt:10:23). This scripture and the word "generation" was discussed in regards to the timing of the "coming" of Jesus Christ.
