Who Are the Modern Day Israelites?

In the Bible, it is self-evident that there was a people called Israel that were called God's chosen people.  These people were chosen through a certain covenant to inherit the promises of God.  This is a biblical fact that must be upheld if this study is to shed light on the question of who are the modern-day Israelites.  We must premise the answer to this question on the doctrine that it is impossible for God to lie, and to change his mind about this covenant and the promises.  God did not and does not give this certain covenant and the promises to a people different than the true chosen people called Israel.  See Mal. 3:6 and Heb. 6:18.

Malachi 3:6 For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. (KJV)
Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: (KJV)

As the Bible clearly explains, this covenant with the promises was made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; and was later confirmed by Jesus Christ.  Read Rom. 15:8.

Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: (KJV)

This certain covenant with the promises was confirmed with an oath and by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ!  God was willing to prove the certainty of this promise by placing himself between this covenant and the heirs!  See Heb. 6:13 and 6:17.

Hebrews 6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, (KJV)
Hebrews 6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed [it] by an oath: {confirmed...: Gr. interposed himself by} (KJV)

This covenant was then given to Isaac and then to what is known as the twelve tribes of Israel.  It is very important to understand that this covenant with the promises are still in force today, and must be the basis and foundation of our Christian faith.  To believe otherwise would make the Bible a very confusing book, and worse it would make God a liar.  Let me explain.  It is accepted by most of today's churches that since God's chosen people rejected Christ, God then had to go to the "Gentiles" with the gospel.  Therefore this caused God to set aside the covenant and the promises that he swore with an oath to uphold!  The implication of this, and what the modern churches believe, is that God had to also cast aside his people Israel; simply because this covenant and the promises belonged to them.  This theory of God casting away his people will totally disagree with what the apostle Paul said regarding God's chosen people called Israel.  Read and believe Rom. 11:1.

Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, [of] the tribe of Benjamin. (KJV)

Let us for a moment consider what Paul is saying in this verse.  Paul made it plain that without question, God did not cast away his people Israel!  Paul also stressed the fact that he himself was of the physical seed of Abraham, an Israelite of the tribe of Benjamin.  Why would Paul declare that he was of the seed of Abraham?  Paul was born into a continuing physical seed-line which enabled him to inherit the promises as given to Abraham.  God did not cast away his people (including Paul), which means the covenant and the promises are still in full force and effect. Therefore this covenant with the promises are a major part of the Christian faith, simply because Paul preached this faith!  Please understand the implication of what Paul said in Rom. 11:1!
    
To understand correct New Testament theology is to not lose true Israel, which the modern churches have done!  The New Testament never replaces true Israel with the "Gentiles", as many people of today falsely assume.  My booklet, "Lost Israel and the Gentiles" will guide you through the scriptures, and the Bible will explain in detail who the "Gentiles" are.  The physical seed of Israel with the covenant and the promises are with us today, and remain the same as was promised to Abraham long ago.  This Israel seed-line was to endure as long as the sun, moon and the stars continue to shine.  This physical seed of Israel would always be a nation as long as the laws of the universe were operating.  Carefully read and simply believe what Jer. 31:35-36 is saying.

Jeremiah 31:35-36 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, [and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts [is] his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, [then] the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. (KJV)

The God that created the sun, moon and stars stated that the physical seed of Israel would never cease from being a nation before him forever!  This statement from God has far-reaching implications about God's true chosen people called Israel!  If we choose to believe this profound statement made by God,  then we have no choice but to ask this question; who today are the true physical seed of Abraham that came through Isaac and Jacob?  We must premise the answer to this question on what was promised to Abraham and to his seed after him in their generations.  Then we must determine by true history what people and nations fulfilled what Abraham's seed was divinely destined to do.  Read Gen. 12:3, 18:18, 22:18, 26:4 and 28:14 very carefully.  These verses will prove who the modern-day Israelites are if we are honest with the Bible, and have hearts and minds to understand.

Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (KJV)
Genesis 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
Genesis 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Genesis 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; (KJV)
Genesis 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. (KJV)

Abraham was to become a great and mighty nation that would bless all the families of the earth.  Abraham's physical seed was to multiply as the stars of heaven and as the dust of the earth in number, and were to spread over all the earth.  It was this physical seed-line from Abraham that was promised to bless all nations and families of the earth.  What people and nations have truly blessed the world?  Who are the people that have always claimed the Bible as the basis of their faith and belief; and have supposedly believed and worshipped the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?  Who are the people that have always been willing (however mistakenly) to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to other people in far-off countries?  Who are the people that out of the goodness of heart have always come to the aid of other nations in despair?  Who are the people that have always defended the God-given freedoms and liberty for all people around the world?  The evidence is overwhelming that it is the people with the Bible and the Christian culture that have blessed all people and nations (unknowingly ordained to do so by God) through the Abrahamic covenant.  These people were divinely destined and inspired, however driven in blindness to do this!  These are the people that are the object of God's great love, as the Bible repeatedly explains.  It is these people that are the literal offspring and the true Israel of God.  See Acts 17:28.

Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. (KJV)

It is these people that are spiritually endowed from their Heavenly Father to have a "special" creative and inventive ability built into their genetic and spiritual makeup.  The Anglo-Saxon and kindred people in God's divine time schedule brought the age of inventions and the age of industry.  It is these people that have the uncanny ability to always improve on their standard of living.  It is the United States of America that has produced the wealth and the industry that has indeed blessed the world.  This great nation with it's Christian culture has truly been a blessed nation, because centuries ago a man called Abraham believed God! 

True history and the quotes made by our founding fathers prove that this nation found it's greatness in the gospel of Jesus Christ and believing in the Ten Commandments; and also claiming their God-given freedoms and liberty.  This great nation was also built on the biblical principles as given to ancient Israel.  True history has also traced the origin of the Caucasian people to the very area and mountains where the "lost" tribes of Israel came out of their captivity.  My booklet, "Lost Israel and the Gentiles" covers the question of who are the modern-day Israelites in much more detail.  These people with their Christian culture can correctly be called "Gentiles" in the same sense that the lost Israelites of the New Testament were also called "Gentiles"!  This understanding solves the mystery of who are the modern-day Israelites.
