Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our page. No I do not agree with you about only America being the remnant of Israel. The balance of scriptures in the Bible to not confirm this teaching at all. In fact, what you teach at the beginning of your message is very true. Israel was God's Chosen people before Jesus Christ and now all who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior are His Chosen people.

(Rom 2:29-3:2) 29 but he is a Jew {Israelite; see below} who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God. What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God. (NKJ)

JEWS

A name applied first to the people living in Judah (when the Israelites were divided into the two kingdoms of Israel and Judah); after the Babylonian Captivity, all the descendants of Abraham were called "Jews." The term is used in the New Testament for all Israelites as opposed to the "Gentiles," or those of non-Jewish blood. Since a number of Jews (especially the Jewish leaders) were hostile toward Jesus' ministry, the New Testament sometimes speaks simply of "the Jews" <John 6:41>, when it really means "those Jews who did not believe in Jesus." This is especially true in John's Gospel <John 5:16,18; 6:41,52; 7:1>. Because the Jews were God's Chosen People, Paul could speak of the true "Jew" as being the person who pleases God, whatever his race <Rom. 2:28-29>. In the Christian church, distinctions between "Jews" and "Greeks" (or Jewish people and foreigners) are wiped away <Gal. 3:28; Col. 3:11>. Also see HEBRREWS. I hope this has been of some help to you. We all want to live in God's Reality His truth, not men's imagination. All nations involved in the brutal Crusades were under the same assumption you are today (about themselves).

Dear friends in Christ,
Thank you for your reply.  I also (as you do) do not believe that only America (as you put it) is the remnant of Israel.  "Lost Israel" is scattered in all the world as the Bible plainly states this would happen if they departed from their God.  This truth is plainly explained in the Old Testament, as you no doubt are aware.  The Bible also plainly states as a direct result of Israel departing from their God, they then were "divorced"; and therefore no longer shared in the promises and covenant.  The New Testament repeatedly mentions these promises and the covenant made with Abraham, which God swore with an oath to uphold!  This oath that God swore which maintains and enforces the covenant made to Abraham is repeatedly explained in the book of Hebrews.  This oath is directly based on the death and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which is the belief and faith that founded the New Testament Church.  This truth is very clearly explained in the first chapter of Luke, and in many other scriptures as well.  Please keep in mind that God does not change as you know, and Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever; as the Bible explains (Heb. 13:8).  Therefore the promises and covenant are still in effect and must be with the same people.  Can you agree with what I have stated so far?  I respectfully remind you in Christian love that these biblical facts are undeniable and indisputable, if we both choose to be honest with plain scripture.

The serious misunderstanding that our modern Churches are teaching, is that God has discarded his people along with the promises and the covenant.  Therefore from this false assumption it is believed that God then started another dispensation with a people known as the "Gentiles".  My booklet "Lost Israel and the Gentiles" will explain from the Bible who these "Gentiles" were.  I truly want you to understand why I believe the "Gentiles" are non other than the northern tribes of Israel that were divorced from God and were put away in punishment.  You owe it to yourself to read this booklet very carefully for your evaluation, therefore I want to upload and attach this booklet as an HTM file with this message.  Please read also the booklet "Abraham's Covenant and Baptism" from my web page.

In closing, I believe this nation can correctly be called "Gentiles", however in the same sense that the "lost" Israelites of the New Testament were also called Gentiles.  I also believe this nation has a divine destiny, and is made up mostly of the descendants of ancient Israel; which were divinely destined to reveal and proclaim the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  I also believe our founding fathers understood this important truth, and also understood their divine calling based on the Abrahamic covenant.  Thank you for your time, and may the God of Israel bless you richly.  Until next time.
